Cretan Music at Matrix

When you enter the house the first thing you see is the space. The space is simple. When you enter this space you see that the walls are growing or shrinking in response to the movement of the melodies. Some of the melodies are timeless, while others are new. Inside of them there are villages, friends and relatives.
Two young musicians, lyra player Antonis Leontidis with lute player Charis Laurijsen, are bringing their house to Holland.
In it, you will hear new Cretan compositions from Antonis Leontidis’ album “Krifo”, as well as songs from across the island of Crete.
