GEANNULEERD ! Salih Korkut Peker: “Kırşehir-İzmir-Seattle”

Salih Korkut Peker, has been a part of many projects in many different genres as guitarist and
fretless guitarist since 1998. In 2017, he realized his one man band project “Kırşehir-İzmir-
Seattle” (the base cities of the most influential music styles for Peker)
Peker, uses electric cümbüş (a mix of oud and banjo) and çağlama (electric saz with guitar
frets) on stage and influenced by many different kinds of music, such as grunge, rebetiko,
traditional Anatolian, arabesque, etc.. He loves to blend traditional and avant-garde playing
styles in cümbüş, and çağlama.
Kırşehir-İzmir-Seattle is an independant musician movement, which brings cities and songs
together and wants to take a ride with listeners in oppositions. The motto is:
“To the power of music, regions are only details”.
