SONIC PASSAGES III: “Brazilian Passages”

In this third edition of the Sonic Passages series, the focus goes to the abundant musical paradise of beautiful Brazil.
The repertoire will include contrasting pieces from Heitor Villa-lobos to traditional Pífano music.
Pífanos are Brazilian bamboo flutes, which technically share the same construction as the Indian bansuri (transverse flutes six finger holes)
